Basaynon Katig-uban of USA & Canada

On behalf of my family and the Midwest Basaynon Katig-uban, I welcome you all.

When I came to the Chicago area in 1968, I never dreamed we, the Basaynon, would have a celebration of our Basay Fiesta right here in this part of the world. With gratitude to the foresight and vision of a few Californians in the San Francisco area, the Basaynon Katig-uban organization was created. Now, the membership is throughout the United States and Canada, mostly people who came from the town and barrios of Basay.

Guests and members, this is our first gathering in Illinois; specifically in the Chicago suburbs. My family and I welcome you with heartfelt regards. Enjoy our Midwest hospitality as Basaynon.
