Greetings!

Let me convey my warmest felicitations to the Officers and Members of the Basaynon Katig-uban, USA & Canada on the celebration of the Feast of our patron saint, St. Michael the Archangel, in San Francisco, California, USA come August 20-21, 2005

I recognize the important role of the Overseas Basaynon Workers play in community development, especially in helping us in anyway to shape-up our hometown and in the promotion of Basey as one of eco-tourism destinations in the Philippines.

I expect that this year's gathering will pave the way for closer cooperation among our ranks particularly in the area of technical cooperation and information exchange. Working together, I am confident that we will be able to strengthen not only our resolve to achieve sustainable development but more importantly to make our municipality conducive to social development and economic growth.

With this, I would like to commend "The Tabungars", (Mike, Fely, Juliet, Arthur, Ernie and Pery) as hermanos/hermanas for spearheading worthwhile activities on this momentous occasion.
